 Install TurboTax using your Product Key

Step 1: Purchase and Obtain the Product Key

• If you bought TurboTax online, check your email for the confirmation receipt containing the 16-character product key.
• If you purchased a CD or USB, the product key is printed on the package or activation card.

Step 2: Download or Insert the Installation Media

If you purchased a CD, insert it into your computer and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you don’t have a CD drive, download the software from the TurboTax official website:

• Go to installturbotax.com
• Click on Sign In (if required)
• Select Downloads & Updates
• Enter your Product Key and download the installation file

Step 3: Install TurboTax

• Locate the downloaded TurboTax installer file (usually in the Downloads folder)
• Double-click the file to start the installation
• Follow the on-screen instructions and accept the license agreement
• Choose the installation location and wait for the process to complete

Step 4: Activate TurboTax with Product Key
